The 5th International Summer School on Non-target Metabolomics for Natural Products and Microbiome Research will be held at the University of Denver (DU) in Denver, CO this summer June 15-19, 2026. The event will host approximately 65 international students (both academic and industry) at the beautiful, mountain-adjacent DU campus. This summer school will focus on topics relevant to processing mass spectrometry-derived metabolomics data for natural products discovery and microbiome-focused research. Using a combination of lecture and interactive data processing break-out sessions, participants will learn topics mass spectrometry basics & experimental design, LC-MS/MS data processing, molecular networking & advanced annotation strategies, machine learning and AI, repository scale analysis, statistical analysis, and biology contextualization.
