Latest Imaging Technology & Techniques Brown Bag

These first sessions will discuss research themes that are related to the basic transcriptional regulation and the transcriptional regulation in patterning gene expression during development and physiology. The emphasis will be on the articles that employ new imaging techniques. The research articles will be circulated one week in advance.
When: December 3, 2018 (12pm – 1 pm).
Where: Batchelor Hall Conference Room, 2158
Who’s leading this: Dr. Venu Gonehal (Botany & Plant Sciences), expert in confocal imaging research and techniques, will be the host/moderator for the first sessions.
What do you need to bring: Not much – your lunch and a copy/electronic access to the week’s article(s) for reference.
Who’s welcome: ALL are welcome!! Students, post docs, staff, and faculty from all UCR departments and grad programs are invited to attend. Please circulate to those who may be interested.
Participation is optional. We will gauge interest during these first sessions and plan future moderators and sessions accordingly.
